Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the JM Security Group website and your interactions with JM Security Group Pty Ltd (“JM Security Group”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using this website, submitting an enquiry or requesting information about our services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.

1. About JM Security Group

JM Security Group Pty Ltd provides security services across Melbourne and Victoria. Services may include security guards, mobile patrols, event security, crowd control, loss prevention, traffic management and other related services.

Information on this website is provided for general information and does not itself create a service contract, employment relationship or guarantee that a particular service will be available.

2. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful purposes, including learning about our services and contacting us about a genuine business or security requirement.

You must not:

  • use the website for an unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, systems or data;
  • introduce malware, viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
  • interfere with the operation, availability or security of the website;
  • scrape, copy, reproduce or republish substantial website content without permission;
  • impersonate another person or organisation; or
  • use automated tools, bots or scripts in a way that places unreasonable load on the website or bypasses security controls.

We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused or security is at risk.

3. Website Information and Availability

We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, accurate, current or suitable for your particular circumstances.

Services, prices, availability, response times, locations and descriptions may change without notice. We may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the website at any time.

The website may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, technical problems, third-party services or events outside our reasonable control.

4. Quotes and Enquiries

Submitting an enquiry or quote request does not automatically create a contract or guarantee that we will accept the request.

Any quote or proposal we provide may depend on the information supplied, site conditions, required licensing, staffing availability, risk assessment, travel, operating hours and other assumptions stated in the quote. A quote may expire or be withdrawn as specified in the quote.

We may contact you to clarify your requirements before preparing or confirming a proposal.

5. Service Agreements

Security services are provided under a separate written proposal, engagement letter, service agreement or other agreed terms. If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a signed service agreement, the signed service agreement will apply to the services.

The service agreement may set out the scope of work, site requirements, duties, staffing, hours, fees, expenses, reporting, cancellation terms, insurance and other responsibilities.

No website content changes the terms of a separate written agreement.

6. Customer Responsibilities

If you request or engage our services, you agree to provide accurate and timely information reasonably required for us to assess and deliver the work.

You may need to provide:

  • accurate site, event, access and contact details;
  • information about known hazards, risks, incidents and operating procedures;
  • safe access to the relevant site or venue;
  • required inductions, permits, approvals and site instructions; and
  • a safe working environment and timely notice of material changes.

You must not ask our officers or contractors to perform unlawful, unsafe or unlicensed work. You are responsible for notifying us promptly if site conditions, operating hours, access arrangements or security risks change.

7. Payments and Cancellation

Prices, payment dates, deposits, cancellation charges, expenses and other commercial terms will be set out in the relevant quote or service agreement.

If no separate term applies, invoices are payable by the date shown on the invoice. We may suspend or delay services where an account is overdue or where required information, access or safe working conditions are not provided.

Cancellation or rescheduling may result in fees where permitted by the applicable quote or service agreement.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website, design, layout, text, graphics, logos, photographs, icons, software and other materials are owned by JM Security Group or used under licence.

You may view the website and download or print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business reference. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, create derivative works from or commercially exploit website materials without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of information and materials you provide to us, but grant us permission to use them as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal or provide services.

9. User Submissions

When you submit information through the website, you confirm that:

  • the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • you have the right to provide it;
  • it does not knowingly infringe another person’s rights; and
  • it does not contain unlawful, threatening, defamatory, malicious or harmful material.

You remain responsible for the content of your submission. We may reject, remove or decline to act on submissions that appear unsafe, unlawful, misleading or unrelated to our services.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party websites, hosting providers, analytics tools, forms, maps, payment services or other technology. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, content or practices of third-party services. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse the linked organisation or service.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:
